Sparkle edits photos, including editing a face in a photo (Retake). This page covers what you're allowed to submit and what happens if you don't follow it. It supplements, and does not replace, the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard license agreement that governs your use of this app.
Submit only your own photos, or photos you have clear permission to use and edit. This applies to every part of the app, and especially to Retake, which edits a real person's face. Do not submit a photo of another person without their knowledge and consent - including a public figure, a stranger, or someone you know.
Do not submit any photo of anyone under 18 to Retake, or to any feature that edits a face, for any reason. This is a strict, zero-exception rule. We use automated and manual review to enforce it, we permanently ban any account we find violating it, and we report violations to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by law. This applies regardless of context, relationship to the child, or intent.
Do not use Sparkle to create, or attempt to create:
We can remove content, suspend, or permanently terminate any account that violates this policy, without notice, at our discretion. Where we are legally required to - and always for anything involving a minor - we report to the relevant authority.
If you believe Sparkle was used to create something that violates this policy, including anything involving a minor, tell us immediately: sparkle@looksmaxify.me. Include as much detail as you can - we take every report seriously and respond promptly.
